Me and my son, summer 2011
I grew up in a military family and have had many opportunities for traveling.  I've lived in California, Hawaii, and Japan.  I'm married and I have a stepson that graduated from NCHS and a son that started kindergarten this year.  My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education from Illinois State University, with a minor in Spanish.  I have a graduate degree from University of Illinois in Educational Psychology, in a program called "Curriculum, Technology, and Educational Reform".

This is my tenth year teaching in Unit 5, and my ninth year at KJHS.  This year I'm teaching 8th grade Spanish at PJHS and KJHS, one 6th grade FLEX class (Foreign Language Experience) , and one Language Arts class with team 8-1.  I'm available during 8th hour for assistance.  If a student would like to visit me during Tutorial time to get additional help on Spanish or Language Arts, please let me know!
